        Creating Contract :

  • You place an order in store or on the website.
  • Once payment has been authorised, or your cheque has cleared and we have determined the availability of stock we will arrange for the delivery of goods to you.
  • We reserve the right to decline all or part of any order for whatsoever reason and should  this occur we will contact you with these details

  • Payment :
  • If you have any chosen to pay by card, once your order is placed we will process the payment for your order by way of the credit or debit card details you have provided. In the event that there is insufficient stock to satisfy your order you will be informed as soon as possible. A refund will be processed through your chosen credit or debit card used for the payment of the order.
  • If your order contains any item with a lead time of more than 4 weeks and you have opted to pay a 25% deposit by card the balance outstanding must be paid in full on the same card before final delivery is made. A receipt for the balance payment will be issued. We do not operate a “cash on delivery” system.
  • We will advise you if your payment details cannot be authorised for any reason or if your cheque has failed to clear. We may then invite you to pay by another method.
  • Security and Clearing :
    • If you have authorised us to obtain a second or final payment of your order on your chosen card, we will use the same secure connection to request these monies to be transferred to the bank for authorisation. Your CV2 number is not retained by our secure payment provider (SSP).
  • Delivery of goods to you :
  • We will deliver the goods you have ordered to the address you have given us for delivery at the time you place your order. We can only deliver to address England for the price of our premier delivery of Premier Delivery Service charge. For the Scottish Mainland and other off shore locations, including the Isle of Wight, additional charge will apply. Prices are available on application. For the Channel Islands,, Isle of Man, Scottish Island, Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland where we are able to obtain quotations, again additional charges will apply. Customers in these areas may prefer to appoint their own furriers.
  • When you place your order, you will be given an estimated delivery time. When your order arrives to us, we will contact you to arrange a mutually convenient delivery date. In cases where deliveries will be made to you directly from a supplier, you will be contacted by our supplier to arrange the delivery date. As we are unable to store products for any length of time you will be required to take the product as soon as it is available, unless your product arrives early, in which case you may choose to wait until the estimated delivery time quoted at point of order. If you would like to your order to be delivered later than the estimated lead time, please state this by informing the salesperson in store.
  • On the day of delivery, please ensure that the delivery team can again easy access to the room that the furniture is going into. Please make sure that the area you want the furniture placed is cleared. Our delivery team will unpack your furniture, install it in the room of your choice and remove all packing materials from your home and recycle wherever possible. Please inspect your furniture carefully before signing for it and pay any outstanding balance where applicable.
  • We aim to deliver your furniture within the times estimated when you place your order. Where multiple items have been ordered, we will endeavour to deliver them all together by the longest lead-time quoted, unless a split delivery is requested. This additional service will be subject to a further carriage charge. If the circumstances of your order changes, we will contact you. If, however, it is delayed due to circumstance beyond our control, then we cannot accept any liability for consequential loss.
  • You will become the owner of the goods (and be liable for the loss or destruction of the goods) at the time of delivery, provided that we have received payment in full for the goods.
  • Our expert Premier Delivery Service team will carefully install your new furniture in your home, exactly where you want it (subject to access). They will remove all wrapping and packaging and dispose of them for you.
  • All deliveries are signed for. If you are out when our delivery team arrives, they will leave a card with a contact number for you to call them and arrange a delivery at a future date. Please note that there may be an additional charge for this.
  • Access to the destination room :
  • Before placing an order, please check that the items of furniture will fit through any passages, stairwells, landing and doorways on the way to the destination room.
  • Please be aware that it is your responsibility to ensure there is sufficient access to deliver the product in to your chosen location. You should consider vehicle access, lifts and tight stairs etc. If window or door needs to remove in order for access to be gained it is your responsibility to arrange this at your cost and risk. If you are unsure about access to or within your property, please visit our store and discuss with a salesperson to avoid disappointments.

  • Damaged or Defective Goods :
  • Every effort will be made to ensure that the goods you have ordered arrive undamaged and without defect.
  • If the good are found to be either damaged or defective in any way at the time of delivery, you must complete an incident form immediately, which will be provided by the home delivery team. If damage is discover after delivery, you must contact us within 48 hours of delivery of the goods.
  • If the goods are damaged, and we are unable to repair the item to manufacturing standards, we will send a replacement item upon confirmation that the damaged item has been returned to us.
  • If the good are fount defective we will refund all monies paid by you for the goods in question (including the delivery charges) together with any return delivery charges you may have reasonably incurred if you have undertaken to return the items yourself, in the same form of payment originally used for the purchase as soon as possible.
  • The amount of any refund under the guarantee shall be limited to the original purchase price paid for the unsatisfactory merchandise. Our guarantee does not extend to non-domestic usage, or to goods which are taken outside the UK.
  • Cancellation by us :
  • We reserve the right not to accept any order request if:
    • We have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered
    • We do not deliver to your area
    • The payment transaction in no authorised; or
    • You have not complied with the prevision of paragraph 12 of these terms and conditions.
  • If we do cancel your contract we will notify you by e-mail or phone and will refund to you any sum paid by you to us in respect of the contract as soon as possible, and in any event within 30 days of the cancellation of you order. We will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.
  • Unforeseen Circumstances :
  • While every effort is made to meet our customers, demands, cancellation or variation may be necessary as a result of an act of God, war, strike, lockout, labour dispute, fire, flood, drought or other causes beyond our reasonable control.
  • Complaints and Remarks :
  • If you have a complaint or a particular remark to make please do not hesitate to contract us immediately by facsimile, telephone or e-mail, the details of which are contained on the front page.
  • Any complaints will be dealt the fairly, effectively and confidentially. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.
